Paul Marcone, President  

Paul has 26 years of government relations experience,
including 13 years working on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant, press secretary and chief of staff. Before establishing Paul Marcone andAssociates in October of 2003, Paul served for three years as a Vice President at the Russ ReidCompany, one of the country's leading firms in  raising money for non-profits. 


As a federal lobbyist, Paul has represented a wide range of nonprofit organizations and companies.  Paul also worked for the New York City Mayor’s Office and the National Law Enforcement OfficersMemorial Fund.

Paul's current and past clients include the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, Getagadget, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Labor and Industry for Education,  Chai Lifeline, New York Water Taxi, National Character Education Foundation, Mesorah Heritage Foundation, Silver Ring Thing Program, The Cancer Project, National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund,  In-Reach, Eastern Mennonite University, Mercyhurst College, Long Island Educational Resources, Afikim Foundation, Columbiana County Port Authority, Easter University, Fuller Theological Seminary,  St. Joseph's Indian School and the Brain Tumor Foundation. 

During his tenure on Capitol Hill, Paul helped secure federal grants and line-item earmarks for institutions such as the City of Youngstown, Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, Columbiana County (OH) Port Authority, Forum Health,Lou Holtz Upper Ohio Valley Scholarship Foundation, City of Girard, Youngstown-Warren Chamber of Commerce, Mahoning Valley Economic Development Corporation, Eastgate Development and Transportation Administration, Youngstown Business Incubator, Mahoning County (OH), Trumbull County (OH), Columbiana County (OH), Southside Medical Center, Western Reserve Transit Administration, 910th Tactical Airlift Wing (Vienna, Ohio), Youngstown State University, Youngstown Playhouse and Girard Community Center.

Paul received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University in 1983 and a Master of Arts degree from American University in 1984.  Paul and his wife Denise live in Chantilly, VA with their four children.

Mike Parker, Senior Consultant

Former Congressman Mike Parker served in the U.S. House of Representatives for 10 years, where he represented the Fourth Congressional District of Mississippi.  During his tenure in Congress, Mike served on the powerful House Appropriations Committee, which is responsible for funding all federal programs and agencies.   Mike also served on the Budget, Transportation, Education and Veterans Affairs Committees.

Mike focused much of his efforts while in Congress on strengthening the nation’s transportation infrastructure, as well as funding cost effective social service and education initiatives.

Following his congressional career, President George W. Bush appointed Mike as Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, where he had oversight of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  For the past two years Mike has been a federal lobbyist representing clients such as the Port of Los Angeles,
Unisphere, Operation Respond, Oregon Inlet (NC) and V-One.

Before entering public service, Mike owned funeral homes, insurance companies, land and timber companies, and a sand, clay and gravel business.  

Mike is a graduate of William Carey College and is the son of the Reverend Paul Parker.
